I just purchased a stick of pqi ddr500. Which I put in my machine (dfi lanparty 250gb & 3000+ newcastle). For some reason it will not run at a 1:1 ratio even underclocked. It crashes alittle below 2300 (230x10) yet it should be able to run at 500mhz out of the box? I know its not my cpu because the memory I had in here before this was a mix of pc2100 and 2700 which with a memory divider got me 2400 (240x10) w/o a problem.

Any ideas?

I dropped the divider to 180mhz/ 9/10 and for some odd reason its still showing it as 1:1 yet I can run 2400 (240x10) stable now. I dont get it.

I think my timings were actually too tight (all were on auto) and thats what was causing it. I can now hit 245x10 with the 9/10 divider.
