hey all, Just want to share my experiment in turning a aircooled Alpha PEP66 into a watercooled Alpha PEP66.
I have closed the heatsink with copper plates and made a inlet at the frontbottum ( looking into the case from the side on the motherboard) and a outlet on the lefttop side so the water flows from down to up in the heatsink. I also used a 72 watt peltier along with the watercooled heatsink. It works damn well !!..idle temp is minus 4 degrees celsius and after 1 hour QIII the temp didn't get higher then 14 degrees celsius. I use a big waterresevoir that has 50 ltrs of water in it and pump it around with a eheim 20 ltr a minute pump , i don't use a radiator , the big resevoir seems to handle it very good.
This is the most quit setup i ever had , i only have the powersupply fan running and ofcourse the pump. This rig cool my PIII700E@1100 1.80 vcore cas 222 5/7 256mb Infineon ram.
Any thoughts or suggestions??

Yeah, I've got a PFH66 that I was thinking would make a great waterblock . . . .

I have a 60x60mm heatsink and its 40mm high (Green Cooler)...
Will it be a good water block when using a 211GPH pump and a bong tower water cooler?

hi , I am not so familiar with AMD heatsinks but i know that the Tbirds are getting pretty hot , if i was too choose a cooling then i would go for watercooling. I have made my Alpha that was laying around and not in use anymore into a watercooled heatsink, it's whatever you choose , the ready to install rigs or make one yourself and take the risk of total faillure. In my case it worked out perfectly but i can't say if your effort will work. with a PEP66T it works. Dont know about other desing heatsinks.
