Bucked up and got me a 64 DDR VIVO Radeon

Thanks for feedback from those to any who answered some of my questions.

I got a Radeon DDR VIVO 64 meg card last night. Just installed it and at default settings scored a 3249 in 3D Mark 2001. That is an increase of 600 points over my Asus Geforce 256 32 meg DDR Deluxe card.

What I really noticed was the sharpness and clarity of 2d video!! ATI I am glad I bought this brand again.

I love my Radeon. Even though my main system with it installed has been out of commision for the last 2 weeks :(. I'm still waiting for my new CPU to come. It actually came today while I was at work. But the wife was in the shower and it needed a signature. Man! Of course I had to scold her when I got home :). JK.
Can't wait to get it back up and running so I can finaly do some gaming again. Can't do anything with this PII 350 I'm running now. But atleast I'm still able to get on the forum. If I could'nt I think I'd die!

Welcome to the ATI family!

I've loved my Radeon ever since I purchased it. Best videocard I've ever owned. I'm sure it will bring you months and months (maybe years) of relyable service.

To get higher scores, go to www.tweakfiles.com and download RadeonTweaker. Wander around the program a bit and see what you can do. Also, if you overclock it, keep the clocks synchronous. Radeon's don't really like Asynchronous clocks for some reason.
