According to Sir-Epix:
"It was not a bad work unit. What it was is a work unit that had extremely spikes, so the program determined that it had Radio Interfence. SETI designed the program to stop analysis and send it back. You do get credit for those work units."
By the way: awesome avatar reddeathdrinker!

Thanx for quoting me. I just got one myself :) It appears that seti is sending them out so they must have hit a big radio interfece when they were draging the radio telescope across the sky.

Just thought I would say hi and I think got a very noisy work unit as I understand it. And seti just said its not worth working on and dumped it. I remember reading a while back you have to work on a WU for 10 min to credit to get credit for it. Not 100% about that.

That would seem to be the case. I've had 2 really short ones, and no credit...........

I personally feel that any WU worked on in any regard should be given credit for. But Seti has decided otherwise. Anyone know why there is a 10 min WU Cpu time min to get credit ?
