I have a SK-6 and am getting 35C idle and 47C Load CPU temps.
Will lapping help get my temps down more??

probably, but those are nice temps, and remember, use AS2

As I looked at the Heatsink, I noticed it was not centered where it should be so I fixed that and added a Delta fan in my case blowing over the heatsink from the side. The Heatsink looked like it had been lapped already.
I reapplied AS2 and remouned the SK-6 correctly centered over the CPU dye and wha la! I am getting 45c Load and 31c Idle with 28-30C ambiant.
