how do i uninstall TCP/IP?

hi guys i need to uninstall tcp/ip and reinstall it because i think it is the problem i am losing my internet connection all the time..anywho can anyone tell me how to do this? i am running winXP pro if it matters..thanks in advance :)

hmm...go to controlpanel->network? unless its changed with xp. you just hit click the tcp/ip then remove reboot and add a new one.

welp thats the problem when i select tcp/ip the uninstall button is greyed out.
