well its impossible. i think the 478 pin array starts with the 1.7 chips. be sure to specify when you order it that you want a 478 pin chip too since the old pin array is also available in the 1.7 variety.

oh yea i think you might want to concider abit's th7-II raid motherboard. its gotten a lot of positive reviews.

APU is right, Intel actually does produce a 1.5 gig 478 pin CPU. That's the same processor I plan on buying to hold me over until the Northwood P-4's arrive. For $160 US at some mail order venders I've seen, the 1.5 gigger is a pretty good bargain and should overclock quite well. Personally, I plan to shoot for 2 gig overclock (fingers crossed for luck).

If you plan to overclock, then right now the Abit TH7-II is really your only choice, but be prepared to spend $200 US or even more if you want one with RAID. In a matter of a few short weeks, several other i850 socket 478 motherboards will be available which should start driving the prices down a little.

The board you want is the Abit TH7 II. This board has a fixed divider which sets your PCI/AGP at 33/66 respectively. You can't overclock those buses. Shes the sweetest thing I've seen since hoola girls with invisible skirts.:D
