airsoft guns?

My friends all seem to be getting airsoft guns, and i know i'm not going to be allowed to have a paintball gun...so

do metal bb's work in these? anyone tried it? :)
also do they make 6mm paintballs?

and..my modding question..
Can you replace a spring with a better one, so it shoots farther/harder/more accuratly?

what about an electronic motor....:-p

i know they do make 6mm paintballs that fit in airsoft guns. Metal bb's also work in airsoft guns just make sure they are 6mm ones. If u look online im sure u can find an upgrade spring to make it shoot harder/farther/more accuratly. They probally also sell kits to upgrade ur gun to an electric motor.

EDIT: Acually I dont think they sell kits to make a spring gun into an electric gun but I know they do sell spring upgrades to make it shoot harder/further/and more accuaratly.

They make 6mm paintablls but they suck they dont break when you shoot them and jam up the gun sometimes....at least the ones i got did. Also i love my Glock 18c BB its awsome i have a metal slide and upgraded spring very fast and powerful. Anyway dont buy the $30 electric ones there crap either buy a BB pistol or AEG rifle. Yeah and this is a OC'ing forum but there should be a" Other" section for things like this.

Airsoft is a pansy sport, seriously. Convince your parents to let you play paintball. Less serious injuries in paintball every year than in bowling or golf, it's a fact.

yeah paintball is ALOT better but airsoft guns look and feel alot more real and i like that. Airsoft = outdoor Paintball = indoor

Who cares if the gun look and feel real? When you shoot someone and they barely even feel it, how realistic is that? Atleast with paintball you can draw blood!
