Do they make any difference? In other words, is one ratio favorable over another? Obviously 1:1 is preferred, but does it matter how close to 1:1 the ratio is? For example, is 6:5 more desirable than 2:1 or 3:2? I have some crappy generic PC2700 that won't boot at anything above 169, so right now I'm running FSB 203 and RAM 169, which gives me a 6:5 ratio. Would I be better off at 5:4 (209 FSB, 169 RAM) due to the higher CPU speed but "less in-sync CPU and memory"?
