I've hit 4.7/2.6 on my conn at home.
But typically it is 3/256.

You can get speed tests to read you strangely sometimes. And you can do registry tweaks and the like.

About what it should be for standard cable; what's cool though is I am out in the boonies!

the progress made in speed and bandwidth in the last 20 yrs is astounding.... when i used to work in the special services in 1982 a 56k digital circuit was like 300/400 bux a month. a t1=(1.544.000 mb) was very rare and extremely expensive especially a cross country t1.. the t3's were only used for interoffice transport..

I have shaw cable "extreme". My dls have hit 604 K/s. On average in the 500's. my upload is usually around 110 K. I am In Calgary, Alberta.
