Black Screen Crash Gaming

I've been playing this game for a while now, and sometimes my monitor goes black and have to manually reboot my comp to fix this. Any suggestions on how to keep this from happening?

Using an nVidia Geforce FX 5200 AGP 8x 128 MB DDR Ram
2700+ Athlon AMD XP

That happened to me a couple times, usually reinstalling the driver fixed it, but the one time I had to format, then it went away.

When is last time you cleaned your case and all your HSF units....

I cleaned my case recently and vid card dropped 3 to 4 degrees...

Try new drivers, (use driver cleaner to wipe em). Maybe see if its a heat issue.
