Help guys, I just installed XP and now I can't connect to the net cause it said that there are no network cards installed even though they are installed. Then it says something about tcp/ip bindings but those settings are nowhere to be found. I reinstalled like ten times and i'm kinda getting tired so help. Drivers are compliant, worked fine 2000. It's PPPOE. Help no internet. AAHHHHH!!!!! I'm melting.

winxp is on an nt format

so when you say 2000 is that win2kpro or ME

so if you installed xp from anything else than win2k pro

then its not going to regonize the card all you do is reinstall it for nt.

Liquidsky i am having the same problem with winXP as you are except the only way to fix mine is every time i boot up i have to go in to network places and disable tcp/ip and reinable it..sometimes my connection comes back..if not i do it again and again and it eventually works, i also upgraded from windows 2000 and i think that is the problem..everyone i have talked to who did a clean install had 0 problems, hope this helps
