I went to compusa. Bought a 6600GT AGP card. Was very happy at that point. It was 249 Plus 44 bucks for 2 year no questions asked Replacement. Went down staires to Circuit city. saw a 6800NU for 249, This included a 50 dollar rebate, And the 2 year Replacement was Only 20 bucks!

So I ended up with the 6800NU for less than the GT. Was this a good choice?

Biggest reason for the 6800NU choice was (now dont get me wrong Ive been out of the Nvidia loop awhile) More Pipes, and 256bit memory , Where the 6600GT Has 128bit and less pipes. Am I right here?

Just want some reassurences i chose wisely, This was a big purchase i really didnt have the money to make.

A quick answer would be Great.

PS, I Know i can Flash, But i have no idea about if i need to Up the voltage in the new GT bios or not, plus Memory speeds. Thats questions for another day.

PS, I got rid of a 9800Pro to get this. Hope it was a good choice also.

You can't "flash" a NU to a GT. The best you can do is use Rivatuner to unlock the extra pipes and shader, and then OC it.

Thanks!!! I Have to say, This card is fantastic. WOW!! The things you can see in Call Of Duty UO Without so much fog is GREAT! These NV Cards HAndle Fog very well. I Can see about 30% fyrther In the fog now. I havent done nothing but use Stock 66.77? drivers.

Now on to this Unlocking of the pipes Hope i Can figure this out LMAO.

And everyone thought i was ATI Loyal. NOT. I Go for whats best for my money. I Couldnt aford an X800. Seems this is Just as good. LOVE IT!!

Now to the overclocking. Will post in the Upper thread with my card and stable clocks.

I don't have the card or RivaTuner but you should see the Pipeline/pixel shader option in RivaTuner if the card supports it (which your's does). You can also go to the RT site and maybe there's a tutorial for enabling this.
