I've read the computer boot problems, but the thing is that nothing is showingup on the monitor. I know that the system is on and I can hear it buzzing away. I've tried using the bare minimum but it doesn't seem to be working.

The system specs are in my sig although I still have my old 120gb Hard Drive.

Just realised that made no sense. Anyway, the problem is that with setting up my new computer, for some reason my monitor is not booting with the computer? I don't think it is a motherboard or any internal problem since I can hear all the components making noise.

If anyone could help me or give me an idea it's be helpful.

Thanks

Try reseating all the components. Ram, Video, CPU, Harddrives, all connectors, optical drives everything. Make sure connectinos are clean and everythings nice and snug.

Nope, no difference. Any ideas on why there is no signal being transmitted to the monitor?

I have a feeling it is my RAM. I just had a look and I remember it said PC2100 and it runs at 133mhz. That could be preventing the boot?

i doubt it, based on what you've said it's probably the monitor, the video card, or possibly the AGP slot on you're MB
