To Add a Custom Internet Explorer Window Title:
Using Registry Editor, add a String value named Window Title to the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Internet Explorer | Main
The data value is the title you want to appear on the Internet Explorer window.
To Remove a Custom Internet Explorer Window Title:
Using Registry Editor, delete the following value in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Internet Explorer | Main | Window Title
When you delete this value, "Microsoft Internet Explorer" becomes the default window title.
For Outlook Express 5.0, the location of the key has changed to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Identities\{** Identity ID **} | Software | Microsoft | Outlook Express | 5.0
Create a new string value, or modify the existing value, to equal the title you would like.
Note: Delete the value of 'WindowTitle' to change the title back to the default.
I would guess that this works in IE5 too? where do you get your registry hacks/info from?

Yes, it works in IE5 also. The majority of hacks/info that I've picked up over the years have been taken from the Microsoft newsgroups. I've always been fascinated by the MS OS in general, so every day that I'm logged on I'll usually spend some time reading through posts in the Me, Win98, and IE threads in particular.
I access the MS newsgroups through the msnews.microsoft.com news server.

Another excellent source of information for me is the MS Knowledge Base.

I've referred countless numbers of people to the MSKB and KB articles in general, most of whom were surprised to learn that the KB even existed. Their search engine is top notch, and there are thousands of articles on every product that they've ever produced. Most searches done through the MSKB will return the maximum of 200 results, so you're very likely to find an answer to your question there.
