View Full Version : 1.4ghz temps
Have a 1.4ghz TBird and a GlobalWin FOP38 HSF(which almost took my finger off while tinkering inside the case) Looking at Sandra, my temp is around 50C is that high espicially with the FOP38???Have a 320w power supply. Any suggestions???
I'm not sure how good are the Global wins but i've seen guys recommending it to other ppl, so i figured it should do better than 50C, (anyways is it 50C idle or at full load?) anyways get your self some Arctic Silver if you havent, Lap the cpu if you're able to, and try to set at least 2 case fans in your system (1 fan blowing in and the other out) ;)
Already have the fans in/out got some some supposed to be as good as artic and thats at idle

Those temps arent' great..but Sandra hasn't been known to report good temps. There should be a program that shipped with your motherboard to monitor your temps, or you could get MBM5.
And the FOPs really should be lapped...if yours is anything like the one that I got, at least.

I got the same fan too and a 1.4g..... I get the same temps as u.
I think the fop38 isnt one of the bests anymore so il guess if wanna have temps below 50s u gotta get something better.
