Pdp patriot

Well I bought the pdp patriot 3200 400mhz, and I heard that you cant overclock your pc on some ASUS motherboards , because there's a problem with these cards.
Now I have an asus a8v deluxe, so before I start overclocking I want to know if its true and if it is then what can I do? (Please dont tell me to change them :\ )

Just see what you can do. If it doesn't overclock, I am sorry but there is not much that can be done. Just try overclocking it. You can't hurt anything.

just OC it to see if you have a working pci lock, i think the newer ones do, but you never know till you try
