Gonna buy it, but i need to know if it will give me dual channel before buying it.

Im a little confused. You are already running in dual-channle mode. If you add a 3rd stick you can still run dual-channle but you will sacrifice alot of overclocking potential by doing so

Sent, I think he's wondering if he can get dual channel with the 512MB, like the 256MB sticks.

He's trying to use RAM that is of diffrernt chips. Which could potentially cause problems.

Personally bro, sell your old RAM and just buy a GB

Mixing ram is not recommended, better to sell what you have and buy 2 x 512....
