View Full Version : How to view pictures in the reading pane of Outlook 2003?
Everytime I get an email with pictures attached, I have to double click on each picture to open it open in Windows Picture and Fax viewer to see it. I would like to be able to see the picture right in the preview pane just like you do with Outlook Express... does anybody know how to do this?
right click the picture and choose download pictures or add sender to safe sendrs list and from then on you will see their pics.
Edit: I think I misunderstood. You will have to tell them to not send as an attachment. Have them inbed the ppictures instead of attaching them.
well I don't have to do anything special in Outlook Express, it will just show the pictures by default in the preview pane, I want regular Outlook 2003 to do this too..

Check your security settings in Outlook, I think if you have view html in messages turned off it keeps you from being able to view them. I don't have Outlook, but I know its like that in OExpress.

I already told you how to do that. Right click the image placeholder and select add to safe senders list. This will put the person who sent you the email on your safe senders list and it will show the pictures that are in the document, but like I stated in my first post I believe you are talking about attached files which will open in the default aplication for that type of file when you double click it and not show in the preview pane.
