Hello there!
I was looking around for the famous Sanyo Denki fans, obviously no one seems to have them - I did find a nice page from Japan, probably their headquarters the outlines all their products. I found the one we all like, the San Ace part#109R1212H102 ( off by one digit from the ones the guy used to sell on ebay), but I also found this one - San Ace 120 G type (http://sanyodb.colle.co.jp/product_db_e/coolingfan/dcfan/dc_fan_detail.php?master_id=114) - Thinner (only 25mm vs 38mm), a bit noisier (get a controller already!), but 2x the presure/cfm!
My question is - there has to be a US supplier for this company/brand! Has any one seen or emailed any reps for Sanyo in the us? I emailed the link on that page but no responses yet...
My other question is about Iwaki pumps - anyone has any experience with model# MD-6L? it would be only to cool cpu/nb and a bonneville heatercore - is the pump powerful enough? likage - MD-6L (http://www.iwakiwalchem.com/iwaki/products/md_wmdspecs.htm)
Thanks for any help in advance!!

That is a hell of a lot noisier. 51dba is not remotely quiet. Even at 5V they'll probably be noisier than most users are looking for.

This guy has an Iwaki MD-6Z. I couldn't find specs for any of the MD pumps on the Iwaki site, but I might be looking in the wrong place, so I couldn't tell you the difference between the MD-6L and MD-6Z.

The 'Z' in the Iwaki model number usually designates a model with greater head.

I dont know, I haven't tested it out yet. And I might not even, because I have a MCP350 coming.
Heres my thread with pictures of the pump.

The Sanyo (http://sanyodb.colle.co.jp/product_db_e/coolingfan/dcfan/dc_fan_detail.php?master_id=1214) fans I have been looking for (but cant find) are the 38mm G models. Or even the J (http://sanyodb.colle.co.jp/product_db_e/coolingfan/dcfan/dc_fan_detail.php?master_id=1039) model. Quiet isnt a concern to a point for me, performance and reliability are tho.

I bought my 6 Sanyo Denki fans on eBay from the "dockguys". Contact them.

I think I found a contact/reseller of the denkis in the US, about 1/2 mile from my work... will contact them today and see the availability of the fans... I believe they are a wholesaler though... group buy anyone? I'll keep you all posted...

here is what I asked the rep:
"Hello!
I was wondering where could I find your products for sale in the US either be via Internet or local retailer.
I am currently locates in Florida and know of many others looking to purchase your products, specially part#109R1212H101 or #109R1212H102 for computer cooling applications.
Thank you for the response in advance!"
they gave me the number to call - doing it today - the part # was taken directly from the eBAY auction that dockguys used.... we'll see
