Hello all, this is my first posting so bear with me. I have not overclocked my computer yet and my heat is killing me. I am using VIA HM and it states that my cpu temperature is 68 degrees celcius while my system temperature is sitting at 15 celcius.
My computer aquires horrible lag when I use any program. If the lag is a heat problem, can anyone suggest a good heatsink. My other problem is that my processor is a slot a. I don't know how to install a heatsink to it or how to remove it. Please, I need help.

First, Welcome to the board (I'am new too....)

When you touch the heatsink that is curently installed on it, is it warm or cold, if it's cold you should try some ASII because the contact between both of the cpu and eatsink is not good,

what is the cpu
bord

when you run the comp with side open, is the temp lower?

Sounds kinda hot to me.Get more airflow and look into a better heatsink.
