I was just kicking the idea around...

I already have a 750 watt 12V DC power supply sitting here collecting dust..
Then it came to me....

Remove the MC-462..
Put on a copper cold plate and a 120 watt pelt.
Put the Mc-462 on the hot side of the pelt ....

A good experiment...

Where can I get the best copper (silver????) cold plate and 120 watt pelt?

I already have the MC-462

Will I be able to get below ambient with this setup?
(1.4Gig Athalon at 1617 1.85 Vcore 40' C at 100% CPU whan ambient is 77'F)

and if so..what precautions should I take to protect from condensation?

I'll FREEZE MY WAY TO 2 GHZ!!!!!

I may be wrong but I think you would have to using a watercooling setup for a 120 watt pelt
