How do you determine your processors temperature? Also, has anybody heard of Itanium? What is it? And why is it so freakin expensive on pricewatch?:eek:

Mother Board Monitor will tell you your CPU temp if you have a compatable motherboard. Also, There is a prog called radiate that you enter your CPU information in to and it will calcualte your CPUs thermal output. You can then multiply your CPUs thermal output by your heatsinks C/W rating, and add that to the ambient temperature.
Itanium is Intels IA-64 64-bit CPU, they arn't intended for desktops, mainly servers, and down the road prabably high-end workstations . . . .

for idle temps the system bios will also tell u
