When I OC up to 214x11, my comp boots fine, but at 215x11, it wont get into windows. My thought is the IDE bus is tied to the HTT bus, and therefore won't let me get past 215. Is there a program that will show me the speed of my IDE bus and (even better) place an upper limit to it like a mem cap?

You should be able to pass that easy.. PATA devices arent THAT effected by unlocked bus speeds. I can get to 240mhz. the only limiting factor is my video card crashing when I go into a 3D mode. I would take a look at your memory timings. They're pretty tight.. try loosening them up a bit and then overclock more. Or could use a devider, set your ram to DDR333 and overclock to like 230mhz HTT. See if you can boot them.. Also, make sure your giving enough voltage to your CPU. Newcastles don't need a w hole lot but they still need a bump.

Already tried most of that...the other tip off is that (with a divider), I cant run at 220x10 vs 200x11 (the latter being stock). So its not the proc or the mem.
