Is there any way to uninstall Direct X 8.1 beta? I didn't realize this beta expired, and now nothing requiring directx (yeah, everything I do!) doesn't work properly... as far as I know, there is no way to get rid of it other than reformating and reinstalling win 2k...

but maybe, just maybe, somebody might know...

In win2k reinstall is it. I have seen an uninstaller for win98, don't know how well it works.

Yeah I've tried reinstalling Direct X 8.0a and it won't update or anything... and even if I reinstall the beta it still says it is expired...
