"ULTRAcharging a ThermoEngine" (http://www.exhardware.com/reviews.php?Id=39&Page=1)

I had thought about this idea a while ago, but I didn't think it was feasible at the time...

Now I saw this article and I'm beginning to change my mind...
It looks cool, imagine 2 fans on your heatsink both running way past their normal speeds...

Well, I'm wondering if anyone has done it...it does say that it will reduce the lifespan of your fans, and I'm wondering by how much...If its only gonna last a few months, then I don't think the advantages outweigh the benefits...but if its gonna last a year or so, then its well worth the bother...

Why not just duct air to the HSF from a Panaflow 120mm H.O. 103.5CFM 41.5dBa fan . . . . That would work much better.

Yeah I suppose you could do that...but then would ducts be as effective as the fan-stack setup...You'd get cold air coming from the outside, but this stacking has the fans running so much faster so there'd be much more cfm, thus blowing/sucking more air onto/from the heatsink...

Plus, the fan stack with the adapter would look better:D

there would also be a lot more noise with a fan stack.

2 deltas at 12V stack one on the other make a noise!!!
