An Anonymous Reader writes "According to CNET, the Windows Longhorn Beta
1 is supposedly [0]set for release this June. The Register has [1]commentary on the delays the new OS has faced." From the article:
"Longhorn was originally supposed to ship in 2004. In May, this year release was pushed back to 2005. This week Longhorn's availability has been delayed even further, with Microsoft execs declining to say when exactly the operating system might ship, eWeek reports."

i already have a copy of longhorn my friend gave it to me...i havnt tried it or anythin yet, reckon its illegal ?

^^ that it is and it would also be a "alpha" version which means full of security holes, non completed software and not %100 functional.

Personally i would not bother installing it and also make it clear to your friend it is an Alpha version and not a full working version.

Oh and yes, - it is illegal since MS doesnt release Alpha's to public.

ya i think he got it from iran he said...all that stuff is fake, personally i wasnt gonna install anyways, i really see no need, xp does the job fine. would just be waste of time.
