Console Vanished

After autostarting, my folding@home console does not appear in the taskbar and after ctrl+alt+del does not show in the program list. Ive tried starting from the program list but the same thing happens. please help :confused:

does it start and disappear or not show up at all? If it's not showing up at all you might not have f@h in your default dir. You can edit the regkey to the proper directory. Does it start up when you launch it manually?

If I had a problem like yours I would delete the whole F@H folder, reboot, and reload.

It couldn't hurt anything.....

You might try 1g_raider's idea first. I noticed that it doesn't always start at boot for me too. Never been able to figure that one out but it runs fine when I start it myself. The only time I had real problems with the client not running or shutting down on its own was when I pushed the system a little too far and had to back off on the clock speed.

Thanks for the advice, just removed and reinstalled F@H and it now works fine. It seems my limited overclocking abilities were to blame :D
