Well i killed it somehow. Everything was mounted fine, and I had on plenty of arctic silver. But it doesnt come on anymore. Today I took it out to look at it and on the edge of the core there was a very tiny black mark. I was wondering if putting some clear nail polish on the area would help. There is no physical damage to the core that I can see, just the mark next to it. well i need to know if that might help.

I can't answer your question, but I can let you know that you must exercise a little patience. Your posts were within 10 minutes of each other.
Now, the simplest things should be checked first, like is the cpu properly seated?? Before sayin its dead check all connections, etc. Lots'o luck

does it smell burned?
black usually means something bad......happend to it
I don't know about saving it but if you bought it with a credit card recentall check if it's insured, if not then maybe your house contents insurance covers it, I know mine does :D

sorry about being impatient. I'm kinda frustrated as you can understand. I don't know about the insurance, i'll look into that. But I know it is seated properly and yes i did smell it burn. I think i'll just wait until the palominos come out so the prices go down or just get one of them. Thanks for the help though.

I think my friend may have had jut that problem. He said his AYHJA 1.33 was dead, and when I looked at it, it had ASII smeared all over it. It was most likely in need of a cleaning as you said. Oh well, the replacement for it will be here this sunday. Along with my Epox 8KHA for my new gig DDR system :)
Peace and thermal grease,
Lucifer
