Gmail/google account, true or hoax?

got a gmail account and I just received this email, I'm a but spectical about it...anyone got this too?

What do you guys think about it? The originating address was [email protected] but I'm still not convinced.

I would just ignore it; it's either a scam, or somebody used the "Forgot your password?" link with your account name (by accident or design, who knows?)

In either case, don't follow strange links in email.

ignore it..
google state clearly that they will NEVER ask about a users password.
