I read on a website that the OCZ ddr booster needs a -5 volt line to function properly. I just purchased a Fortron 500w blue storm that does not have a -5 volt line. The OCZ website does not mention anything about PSU requirements, only motherboard. Can anyone confirm that the ddr booster works without a -5 volt line?

Yes, I just read that somewhere else. Does anyone know where to read voltage from the booster with a DMM?

It depends on your motherboard where to read voltage. I think you can find your answer if you search in the motherboard section.
