Mushkin VS Gskill / Xfactor=($$$$)

I'm Building a AMD 64 system right now. I have 2*512 Mushkin PC3200 High Performance Level II V.1 (BH-5) sticks right now.I'm waiting for the DFI NF4-SLiDR, and the Leadtek 6600GT "Extremes" I have a 3200+ Winchester, pcPower&Cooling 510sli,2*120GB WD7200SE 8mb,

I can't afford the 2*512 Gskill PC4400LE's. I can afford the 2*256mb Gskill PC4400LE's. How will the 512mb Gskill4400le's do against my Mushkin sticks. Should I wait to get a gig and play with my BH-5 a bit? Any adives will be well taken. Thank You for YOUR time!!!!

What clocks does your mushy do? If its not above 250 then the gskill will kick its ***

I'd assume the Bh-5 will do very well given the generous voltage options on the DFI.

I'd try them out, and if they are dissappointing, sell them and get some TCCD.

EDIT: How much power can my Mushkins take you think. There is major air flow in my system. They have never been over 2.9v.


*My Mushkin sticks maxed out at 232*11.5 at 2.2.2.6 on my NF7-S V2 with a.. are you ready...**1700+ I should say THE 1700+, lol. Any way at 232 it ran perfect in memtest, 234 would get a couple errors ect...

p.s.* I Lived in Denver and always bought from Mushkin (walk in) Great RAM!!!
** Stepping for THE 1700+ is ( AXDA1700DLT3C 9591037281283 JIUHB 0319WPMW ) I bet with just a water cooling system you could get THIS chip to 3.0GHz, for sure in a Mach II or III! It is a true gem in the sand!!!

Was that with the stock 2.9V vdimm?

If so, they should fly in the DFI. I'm thinking 260+ 2-2-2-6

Stock is 2.5v on my Mushkin Sticks. About 6 months after I got them Mushkin said they warrent them to 2.8v. One thing to note about Mushkin. You get at least 1 "get out of jail free card with them" Ive had friend own ram for a week a fried it up with volt mods and they exchange it. Same has happend 1.5 years later and they exchange them again.

Yea, Mushkin Rocks. You have yourself BH-5 though, so don't let it go untested.
