I just installed MS on a dell for a friend. i did a quick fat format and installation. Now when i startup i go to the MS Boot selector page and it lists two different MS installations... one works the other is currupt. how do i get rid of the other one?

or shall i do another installation?

-right click my computer, select properties
-go to advanced
-go startup and recovery -> settings
-make sure the installation you want to log on to and is functional is in the dropdown menu
-uncheck the box to show the list of operating systems
