Ok, when i OC'd my 3.2 prescot to 3.5 (200*16) all was right in the kingdom, ram all the apps i could run at a lan party without any lag, and made a great server that i could play on at the same time.(UT2K4) :burn:
But then the story gets worse. I got home and began to stress test things and i got some problems. ass soon as i run seti or a prime 95 stress test, i hear faint beeping over the XP-90 white noise, and discovered that the sound was coming from the motherboard. Naturaly i dod the sain thing and continued the stress test and opened up another app, the 'abit eq' self monitoring software.
once there i found that my 12v was close to 11v, and that the alert was going off on the 3.3v line which dipped to about 3.02 once every 5 - 10 seconds. when i saw that i thought it would be prudent to shut down the stressing software, and get a second oppinion.
what should i do? would slaping some sinks on the mosfets help? or should i think about finding another PSU, from a realy good mfg?
*see sig for details on the rig*
