Question for the watercool ppl out there!
I just got my watercool kit from Becooling! this one ---> http://becooling.safeshopper.com/3/55.htm?466 can i have the fan that comes with it and add another 120mm on the other side of the radiator? would it affect anything ? or would it be ok if i do it?

Thant's all ;)

If you mean having one fan pushing and the other pulling air through the radiator I can't see how it would hurt anything.

Since you've already invested some $$$ in the system you might want to set it up and see how it works for you. Then if you want to try to add the second fan it shouldn't be too complicated. If you have an extra 120mm available go for it and let us know how it works for you.

yea i have plenty of fans :) name the size and i prolly have a couple LOL!

What about both 120mms blowing air in to the radiator?

I have that specific cube radiator and there is a noticed improvement when I added the 2nd Panaflo 120mm M1A to the 'push' side. Previously, I only had the 'pull' fan. Works much better now.

Definitely use two fans. A second 131 CFM YS Tech with my Cooling Cube dropped my full load temps 3C.

I got the same results as Colin when I added another 131 cfm SY tech

you could clock thim down to 7volt and they get much more quiet and doesnt affect cooling more thin 1c

I agree with Warlord2 about throttling down the fans. At full speed they make a fair bit of noise. I slow them down with a 6 Fan LM317T Bay Bus (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1569) unless full speed is needed when running at full load.

Both blowing into the Rad? Well I can't see the side of the rad so I don't know if there is a grab for the air to escape out of but I don't think it would be a good idea as you wouldn't get enough air flow through the cube. You could try it but I wouldn't recommend pushing your system too hard until you know for sure how well it will work. All in all it would depend on how much air flow you get out of the sides of the cube.

The fan on the inside of the case (closer to the front) should blow air into the radiator and the one on the outside (closer to the back) should blow air out. This way hot air from the radiator doesn't affect the rest of the case.

The best setup I've seen sent air from side to side, meaning that hot case air never goes through the radiator. Rob Cork used that on his case. For that, it doesn't matter which fan is push and which is pull, just so long as you don't have them blowing air at each other.

If you set them up to blow air at each other, they'll be fighting each other to move air so to speak, and the end result will be almost no air going through the radiator. :p
