MSN Messenger Problem ..plz help

Hi

Can anyone help me plz ??? When I use my MSN messenger, I can't IM anyone anymore. The IM window pops up where it is mosly gray and cannot type. I can receive IMs but I cannot read them.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled MSN messenger twice. I still have the problem. Also, when the IM window pops up, I can't just close it. I have to Ctrl Alt Del it to get rid of it.

Another thing is that it used to work and all this started happening when I updated the new version of Half Life Counterstrike.

Can anyone plz help me?

I don't understand you people, why would you use MSN anyways. Let alone the fact it really sucks you are also falling for the M$ comunism, look what they did win WinXP, not only is it included, it is also hidden from uninstalling it and it consistantly prompts you if you chose to ignore it.

Train I will ask you to refrain from this type of reply. If you want to vent about Microsoft there are other areas here to do that. Such as gripes and moans and vendor discussion.

Your reply in no way helped the starter of this thread. And that is what he was doing. Asking for help.

I'm using Win98SE and I did catch a virus called "PE Nimda.A". I had around 40 viruses of the same thing. I've been told that this virus has been spreading since Sept 18. I probably got the virus when I downloaded the counterstrike newer version 1.3 which came out on the 19th cuz MSN messenger didnt work right after.
