Hi,

I have a micro-tape voice recorder for lectures and such.. What program do i use to store them into my computer and then maybe make it sound clearer. I dont know how to do this...

I know i have to connect the recorder/any source of sound into line-in on the sound card. Then use a program to start recording? I also wish there is a program that i can then remove all the hissing sound to make it clearer.

Please help, as this is urgent for me.

Thanks

Windows XP hase a built in program called sound recorder. Its crap but its free and I think it lets you adjust sound quality. Oh yeah and nice double post by the way.

Do you have Nero? Yes the burning software. If so, you can use Nero Wave Editor to record your stuff onto your HDD.
