I remember reading some posts and they mentioned a website that has fan duct for $3. Does anyone know where I can find one? Thanks...

I spoke nicely to my local plumber, and got some off-cuts of PVC pies of various diameters. Or use the body of a 2litre soft drinks bottle.................

I think automotive ducting is pretty cheap, places like Pep Boys carry them in all sizes too.

I'm going to try the pepsi cans and see how that work. I have a fan on the side of the case that is directly above the heatsink but would like to concentrate all the air onto the heatsink. Hopefully this will reduced the cpu temp by 1 or 2 C

RedneckTech,
Isn't your avatar Ernesto Guevara aka Che Guevara?
He's a Cuban Communist who worked with Castro to take over Cuba in the 60's. Do you think a person who wrote two books on guerrilla warfare that bin Lauden probably read is an appropriate image to superimpose on the flag of the United States of America? I'm not saying you can't but in my opinion it is in bade taste.

Yes that is Che Guevara with the American flag superimposed on it, I agree it is off, but it was my avatar originally to start off with. I looked at the other images I had used for avatars on other phpBB boards (Earthworm Jim and an S3 chip that said All Your Base) and I found it kind of hard to somehow include the flag on those. That and I couldn't find any unique American flag pics that hadn't already been taken on this board, so I went ahead and did the one you see now.
I personally feel there is a difference between guerilla warfare and terrorism. Some of our own units use guerrilla tactics to accomplish the mission set before them, so I see nothing but maybe irony in imposing the American flag onto the image of Che Guevara. But here is not the place to discuss such things.
Though I did think this one was better done.

RedneckTech,
Yes, you are right of course about the off topic post, sorry fellow overclockers! I agree that the US has used those tactics also. I am perhaps more sensitized to this due to my close proximity to both DC and NY.
Back to the topic at hand!
I have used kitchen funnels for ducts and they are ususlly less than $2. I saw somwhere that someone used a plastic bowl also. I have also used a green plastic gutter extension, it has some good reducing sections. IT work especially good to reduce a fan from 92mm to the 60x80mm of my old Taisol heat fink. If you do make your own you might want to get some metal tape. It's the same tape used on heating and cooling ducts. I use it a lot see attached pic.
