Yes there is. but I don't know what it's called or where to get it. It came bundled with the modem and I am not at the computer that is using it . Search around for freeware and you will find something.

Callwave does that I believe, don't know if its any good or not.
What kind of modem is it, you should be able to download the software for this from the manufacturer.
Does his connection support v.92 however? Just because your modem supports it, does not mean your connection does, so that might be something worth looking into.

OK I called and got the info. It is a Modem Blaster from Croative Labs. I got it at Best Buy. The Program is called Netwaiting (version 2.5.3) and can be downloaded from HERE (http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/download.asp)
The info page says it is for that modem only but try it anyway. It uses the "Modem on hold" feature of the V.92 standard.

Software from another modem manufacturer is fairly likely incompatible with modems of other manufacturers... Who made your modem?
