Yeah nothing to get excited about, at least they are doing the recall. I just thought people might want to know.

Sorry didnt mean it like that. For those effected they absolutly need to do this, and I wasnt trying to detract from your finding of this. Just making side-comments on how ordinary this is.
Either way its STILL a nice find

This must be where the "Xboxes used to burn peoples houses down" comments come from.
Bit of a stretch, but I guess theres an once (or a cm) of truth to it.

You've heard of the xbox killings right? hehe
Also, my cords came melted. What I maen is like I guess they got hot in the box or something b/c the cord was folded over on it's self and stuck to itself. Nothing a little electrical tape couldnt fix.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up on the cords

Thank you for the information pertaining to the power cord. What about these Thomson's not being able to read the new games. Where's the recall on that?
it's great that they still support it to that depth... but in a sense it would be much easier for some to just go out and buy a $5-$10 cord.

In the same place as the PS1 and PS2 recalls for having sh***y lasers that quit reading discs after a year or two. LOL!!!!!!!!! :p

Yea, I heard about that yesterday. Interesting, and I'm kinda glad that MS is recalling it and sending out new cords. Although, I don't use mine enough atm to make me really concerned... soooo... yea.
