It is time to upgrade my 2003 PC Cillin scan protection
I'm thinking of purchasing TREND MICRO PC-cillin Internet Security 2005 .This would be extra addition to my Smoothwall firewall and would protect my home network of 5 computers.. What is your opinion guys about this, and what problems did you had with this scanner/firewall - if any :) ??
Post your opinion please. I had very good experience with Pc Cillin 2003 but did not installed firewall—used instead ZA ,now I think off change

I could see updating the AV but why the firewall ? You said that you have a smoothwall box in place so what is the point in another firewall. I would think that it would only slow you down and it would be just one more thing to configure.

smoothwall protect my network from intrusion from outside ,software firewall i.e. ZA or PC Cillin will protect from inside-(if my kids get some nasty bug my firewall will not allow it call home)"A router defends against outside attacks. I didn't even think about kids. I don't have any myself so I never remember that . I have had nothing but problems with ZA. I have installed McAfee Internet Suite 2005 on several computers and everyone has said that they love it and haven't had any issues.

nobady had good or bad experience with this program????
