Background Static

I am trying to use the Onboard Audio as part of my Fic AD11's motherboard. For some reason everytime I move the mouse I get this nice burst of static noise in my headphones / speakers. Also when the mouse is not being used the static is still there, just not as annoying. Anyone ever heard of something like this?

Two possibilities, the SB might be getting too hot or you might need to install new drivers. I suggest (carefully) touching the SB to see if it is hot, and if so, put a heatsink on it.
