anyone ever heard of NIKAO brand of PSU? reason i ask is because the 450W IcePower (http://www.btecanada.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=89_167&products_id=2448) has 30A on the 12V for only $70 CAN, and the 520W Alien Power (http://www.btecanada.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=89_167&products_id=2449) has a whopping 35A on the 12V, for only $80 CAN.

by comparison, the Enermax 465W (with 30A) costs $115, the OCZ Powerstream (30A) costs $129, and the Vantec 470W (28A) costs $115.

those 3 are real good brands from what i gather, but for $35 less, i can get a better 12V rail and dual Fan LED lights, so it is tempting.

so i looked for reviews for NIKAO and havent found any, not even bad ones. but Nikao is owned by Tradex, who also make the Topower and Aspire line of PSU. The Topower line has a couple of great reviews here (http://www.tweaktown.com/document.php?dType=review&dId=365) and here (http://www.dansdata.com/top420p4.htm) and even though the Aspire, found on some 'not recommended' lists, has a positive overclocking review here (http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/aspire_chameleon_psu.php).

so what do you guys think? go for the NIKAO line and save my money? or get bonafide good brands for more?

i'm not a crazy overclocker, and dont plan on having a dual SLI setup anytime soon. keep that in mind. only thing i'd increase from my signature specs are adding a SATA drive, and replacing the FX 5600 with an AGP 6600 or 6800.
