My cousin gave me an "AOPEN AW724" sound card, the chip is a Yamaha XG YMF724F. It is PCI tho, and Windows 95 won't "find" them, i'm working on getting the drivers. Any disadvantages from using PCI?

*How do I disable the "onboard" sound from my mobo?

thanks in advance :D

go to AOpen`s web site and look an the manual it will show you the jumper to disable the onboard sound. PCI is semi new school where an ISA is old school.

Like Klown said, go here:

http://www.aopen.com/tech/download/sound/default.htm

Get drivers, then check your motherboard manual to see where (and if ther is) the jumper to turn off your integrated sound card.
