I've had no problems running quality CAS3 PC-133 @ CAS2 at 133 Mhz, FSB.
I just got 512 Mb of Micron PC-2100 that's rated at CAS 2.5. DDR is new to me. Is CAS 2.5 @ 133(266 Mhz, AMD "style") all she wrote with this RAM? Is it possible to safely set the CL to 2.0?
I ask because my mainboard doesn't have the "boot into auto-safe mode in BIOS after an unsuccessful boot" feature. The BIOS needs to be cleared after being unable to boot because of trying to push the RAM too hard. And I'm lazy. For shame!
Thanks a lot for your expertise on this!
