CS 1.6 serial key problem..

I recently installed cs 1.6 on my new computer, but when i went to register it on steam, they said that the cd key was illegal..:mad::mad::mad:

Any ideas or could anyone possibly give me a cd key that works?

If it is on loan from a friend, steam won't let you register it on your account, you'll have to play it on his.

You are correct. You cannot transfer CD keys do different Steam accounts.
