Well guys its been about 4 months since my last WC rebuild and im getting that itch again. Ive gone from External to currently internal my first external was susposted to be internal but ended up being the most ugly use of 11' of tubing. I was looking at another post and it got me thinking, it looks so much more clean in the case if you have it external.
Anywho I have just started to think about this but i woud like two lines going either from top of case or around in the back and into the box. I know that 90 bends are killers, but all I am running is a Maze4 on my cpu. In order to help tubing length and bend limits I was thinking about using oversized 45 degree bends. How many people have done this and does it work? Also I have a hydor L30 pump, '77 HC w/greenman shround 2x 120mm fans. For the box I was thinking having the HC on its side with the output of the pump going almost directly the HC, I would not think that putting the pump on its side would hurt but im not sure. ill get a pic up in a few further explaing what I want to do.
After making this picture, ive seen some people actually use the box as a "shroud" its self, how would it work if i placed 2x120's on the side pulling air though the HC and the box?
The second picture, ive been a long time fan of the T line but have used res with great delight before. Insted of the T why not use a PVC res with a LARGE fitting allowing the pump less restriction on the intake. I mean ive got all that extra space anyways.
