I have a t-bird 1.4 on a 250W PSU. I have herd you need a minimum of 300W to run stable. My system runs very stable though and the volt is rock steady and the 5V never goes below 4.97V and the 12V never below 12.0. Aopen guarantess function with Athlon as well. Is voltage drop a good indication that you do not got power enough or can you be low on power anyway?
I only have one hard drive attached and one case fan. Do i really need to buy a new PSU when my voltage is this stable? BTW any good temperature monitors out there. I have SIV which seem to be working fine and i downloaded MB5 but that did not report my temps accurately on my GA-7dxr. Any other programs?

in my own opinion, 250w is too little for athlon

Why should you waste your money on a new PSU if everything is stable?

My opinion, exactly. I say wait until it breaks....then buy a 431W Enermax!
