The data server NAS box may be OK at this point, although we have not subjected it to the full production load yet. We currently have the data server turned off so that the file deleter can at least partially clear a large backlog of workunit and result files that are scheduled for deletion. This backlog is a hold over problem from when our database server was on a slow machine. Validation and assimilation are both currently on.

Need to get this resolved soon or I'll run out of wu's :eh?:

it's all hit or miss, sometimes it works, most times it doesn't, all I know is my message window is always overflowing with failures.

Same here.... looks like it down again today...

I was almost out last night on my AMD rig.. and when I woke up I had about 35 w/u's ready to go... :thup:

And about 50 to upload..... :confused: I dont even wanna look at the Xeon rig. (100+)

it seems to be working a little better today.

this is berkely's defineition for the assimilator: Sah_assimilator: Takes scientific data from validated results and puts them in the SETI@home master database for later analysis.

Same here .. I have been some new WU's from BOINC SETI and a few have uploaded but I still have about 60 finished I'm waiting to send. Good thing Einstien@Home launched as it's now giving my crunchers something to do when SETI BOINC is down.

Not to intrude, but if any of you are on hold with seti, maybe you wouldnt mind folding just unti this server thing is fixed. Folding for team intel is the best way to do it. Though any foling for team 32 would be great. Any way sorry if this is not allowed i will remove it. Just thought while you are all waiting around some cureing cancer may not be a bad idea.
