i read a review [cant remember where] and they were saying that its as good as the swiftech MC462,anybody know of other reviews where there is a good comparison.we have just [atlast!] got the both of them arrived in australia and the alpha is much cheaper and im not sure which way to go? what can any of you recommend me,in this issue though performance comes 1st but if its so minimal then cheaper will be better!
thanks for any future opinions on this subject.........................

There was a review on Anandtech not long ago, and if I´m right the Alpha beats the Swiftech HS.

Anandtech reported it as being better, oc.com had it following the Swift, SK-6, and Glaciator. Its a good heatsink regardless.

thanks dudes!
i may just go for the alpha
[but the swifty beats it in the looks department though!]
I don't want this to be true, because I have a swifty but not an alpha.
The only report that the swifty lost was when the used the 53cfm fan on it. When swifty uses the delta 68 or 80cfm fans they blow it away.
As far as "heatsinks go" I think the alfa is better because I read "somewhere" that the fins are better than the rods.
I would think that the rods would be better if they were hollow....but thats just me thinkin when I'm board at work.
The new Alpha isn't even availible in stores yet? I would like one but I don't think they are truly availible yet.
